Areas of Expertise:
Molecular and behavioral chronolobiology

Research Organisms:
Bumblebee (Bombus terrestris)

Research Focus:

Bumblebee Clock Project, Marie Skłodowska-Curie PhD candidate, EU 2020, CINCHRON (Comparative Insect Chronobiology) Program, Innovative Training Network.
We work on the role of the clock genes on complex behaviors such as time-compensated sun-compass navigation, time sensing, social synchronization, division of labour, and response to agrochemicals that are crucial for their social organization and foraging in bumblebee.
