Areas of Expertise:
Hemiptera insects; Auchenorrhynchan; Haplaxius crudus
My research interest is primarily in the insect-pathogen-plant interactions. My doctoral research is focusing on the vector of palm infecting phytoplasma disease, Lethal Bronzing Disease. By using molecular and filed experiments, I am trying to find the evidence showing which insect is the true vector of the disease. Also, find the potential methods for the vector as well as the disease control.
